Tuesday MARCH 1
Kobrin, Schwartz, Warner Piano Trio
Acclaimed Russian pianist Alexander Kobrin has won numerous prizes, including the Gold Medal in the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. Israeli violinist Sergiu Schwartz has been featured in concerts on four continents and has appeared on NPR, CNN and the BBC. Wendy Warner won first prize in the Fourth International Rostropovich Competition in Paris.


Saturday MARCH 5
Jasper String Quartet
The ensemble was winner of the prestigious Cleveland Quartet Award, the Grand Prize and Audience Prize in the Plowman Chamber Music Competition, the grand prize at the Coleman Competition, first prize at Chamber Music Yellow Springs, and the silver medal at the Fischoff Chamber Music Competitions twice.

David Finckel & Wu Han
Acclaimed as the ‘Power Couple of Chamber Music,’ Cellist David Finckel and his wife, pianist Wu Han, have served as the Artistic Directors of The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center since 2004. They are also the founders and Artistic Directors of Music@Menlo, a chamber music festival in Silicon Valley. Wu Han was soloist with the Pacifica String Quartet. David Finckel is the original cellist of the Emerson String Quartet.


Saturday MARCH 12
Vadym Kholodenko
In 2013, this young Ukranian pianist won the Gold Medal in the 14th Cliburn Competition, sweeping all major prizes, including best performances of both the piano quintet and of a commissioned work. While on a plane flying from his home in Moscow to the competition, he composed his own cadenza for his performance of Mozart's C Major Concerto.

An Evening of Cole Porter
Artistic Director Alan Mann and Music Director Robert Ashens, and Opera Theater of Connecticut return to the Festival for the 20th year. This musical evening features six professional singers performing hit tunes by the celebrated American composer, whose works include “Kiss Me Kate,” "Silk Stockings” and “Anything Goes.”

Mozart Masterpieces
Music Director Kyle Swann returns for his 10th Festival for an evening of highlights and scenes by the world's most important composer, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, whose operas, concertos, symphonies and sonatas profoundly shaped classical music. Six professional opera singers perform excerpts from ‘The Marriage of Figaro,’ ‘Abduction from the Seraglio,’ ‘Cosi fan tutti,’ and ‘Don Giovanni.’

Olga Kern
Ms. Kern first performed at the Festival in 2001, after becoming the first woman to win Gold at the Cliburn in more than thirty years. In 2015, she performed with The Stuttgarter Philarmoniker, at the Helsingborg Piano Festival and France's Dinard Festival, with the National Symphony Orchestra in Turin and Milan, and a recital in Lima, Peru. In the United States, besides many orchestral performances, she gave five recitals with Renee Fleming, including one at the JFK Center for the Performing Arts.
